Marquis Hardamon
MS, CSCS
Marquis is a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach who works with individuals to build strength, improve movement, and train with purpose. He began his career as a personal trainer in 2022 before pursuing collegiate strength and conditioning, where he started as an intern at Georgetown University. During his time at Georgetown, Marquis progressed into a Sports Performance Assistant role, working directly with Squash, Sailing, Cross Country, and Rowing teams while assisting with Men’s Lacrosse and Football. He also worked with youth baseball athletes at a private performance facility. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance at Hampton University, where he works with Men’s Lacrosse, Sailing, and Tennis.
Marquis believes effective training is about quality of movement rather than simply moving more weight. He strives to create an environment where individuals can train with purpose, give their best effort, and genuinely enjoy the process. He is passionate about continuing to learn, building meaningful relationships with the clients he works with, and seeing the progress that comes from consistent training.
About Marquis
When he’s not coaching or training, you can find him watching basketball or football, bowling, going to the movies, gaming, reading, or working on LEGO sets with his fiancée. Marquis is a huge superhero fan and enjoys collecting Marvel and DC comics, as well as anime. He is a lifelong learner, an avid reader, and someone who is always looking for an opportunity to learn something new.
